
The City of Manchester stadium, formerly called Eastlands, was built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games. It is now the home of Manchester City FC following their departure from the Maine Road ground. The new stadium is located to the North East of the city. The City of Manchester stadium was chosen as host for the 2008 Uefa Cup Final.
Official Parking
There is car parking at the stadium for 2,000 cars and the normal cost is £5. The stadium is owned by Sportcity, so follow the direction signs with sportcity on them
Street parking
There is a residents only car parking scheme that extends to a distance of about a mile from the ground. So if you are looking for street parking you will have a bit of a walk to the stadium.
Unofficial car parks
There are some unofficial car parks near to the City of Manchester stadium. Average cost is £5. Security at these car parks is likely to be more limited than the official City of Manchester car park
