Cowes Week has been running in the Isle of Wight for over 180 years - since 1826, and has been continually growing more popular. As well as a great week for participants, Cowes provides a great opportunity for spectators and the best viewing points are from The Green and The Esplanade.
Many visitors to Cowes come over from the mainland by ferry. It is usually not necessary to book if travelling on foot. If travelling by car, pre booking the ferry is essential.
Parking in Cowes is extremely limited. In view this extra parking is available at Northwood Park (off Ward Avenue) and Cowes High School (off Crossfield Avenue). Cowes Football Club and the Isle of Wight Community Club (both off Park Road) will also be available for parking on 10th August. All temporary car parks for Cowes Week will be clearly signposted. At East Cowes car parking facilities are available on Victoria Grove Recreation Grounds on Friday 10th August.
